To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the long successful X20 line, CH Acoustic introduced the series in a limited Orange and Blue edition with some special tweaks. This was in homage to the place where the cables were first conceived and designed. By a group of audiophiles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which is consistently one of the top 5 engineering schools in the world.
The X20 is based on an award winning design that was directly influenced by some of the world's most respected scientists. The design goal was to maximize signal fidelity. The result demonstrates zero magnetic hysteresis, a perfectly and tightly focused signal that is centered in the conductor, and a near undetectable radiated electromagnetic field. (Even at well over 2,000 watts of continuous power delivery.) All of these things combine to deliver a musical signal so free of distortion that it sounds and feels like the original live event. It achieves a level of fidelity that objectively performs well beyond it's price point.
The X20 has been demonstrated to outperform all others on speaker systems from Wilson, Magico, YG, Scaena, Marten, TAD, Sonus Faber, Avalon, and many more.
